FOW launches new website
03/30/2006After close to a year of hard work with website designers Advance Design Interactive (ADI), the Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) launched its new information-packed, user-friendly website on February 17th. Check out www.fow.org!
Special thanks for the creation of the website goes to Barbara Berman who coordinated the effort at ADI, Barbara McCabe, Denise Larrabee, current FOW newsletter editor, Dena Sher, Communications Committee Chair, and contributing Board members Stephen Lawrence, Shirley Gracie, Toni Seymour, Bettina Hoerlin, Richard Berman, and others.
A special new feature of the website is the user's capability to sign up online for a new or renewed membership in the Friends. Donations up to $500 can be accepted online and for larger donations please contact Maura McCarthy at 215-247-0417.
